I'd like to go but for now I'm sticking to my local pink spots. I'll be down for that next month though when the coho are in. I know a few sweet spots there. ;) If you want some intel PM me.

Monkey Man. I'll be there to help you thwart the pber's.Was there today and got skunked. Not as many fish as there was on sunday am when I did well. Crabbing sucked today too. funny how the guy next to you doing the same exact technique and
using the same gear hits a couple.THAT'S FISHIN'
See ya Sunday.Head south of the pier to the 1st cove or then down to Mckee's

Right on... I'm anxious.  I went out yesterday and hooked up with Ferndale Solar up in our neck of the woods.  I unloaded the kayak, started putting gear together, y'know - just gettin' ready to go.  THEN I looked in the back of the truck and my heart sank.  I'd left both my paddle and pedals at home.  Shit.  FS and I chatted for a quite a while about local fishin' and gearing up.  It was good, but not as good as if I'd had the brains to remember my stuff!  :'(

i hooked up with Yak Monkey a 0 dark 30 and launched off the beach at Kayak Point.
Lots of Humper's jumpin' and finnin' around.Landed one in the first cove and as the tide receded we worked our way down to McCees.Tons of pb's fishing in amongst mooring buoys so I slid my yak in the midst of tight quarters and landed another. The bite went off and then as the tide shifted in the fish started moving up again.Others were hitting them but we couldn't buy a fish so Monkey Man bought me a late lunch and a frosty one.Good to hook up with great folk.

Wasn't a total blown day, but I have a skunk goin' on that I GOTTA kill.  On more than one occasion I nearly jumped out of the 'yak to grab at fish that were leaping around all day long.  I probably would have had better luck if I had just held my net out over the water and pedaled in tight circles around the (insert string of vulgar epithets here) schools.  :angryfire: :crybaby2: :angry5: :angry1:  :BangHead: :angry3:  :angry9: :sad2:

The only thing I did catch were a few shots of fishnut landing his first fish of the day.  I'll post them after I download the pics.  Camera's already packed up for my morning fishin' trip. MUST get this damn skunk off!!!
