Thursday or Sunday

Want to try to get out this Thursday or Sunday. Would like some company. Not been cathing many fish lately so figure that someone else to swap notes with should help my chances plus alleviate some of the boredom of cast there... now cast there... maybe i'll try over there... probably need to switch to different lure.... and so on and so on.

Really want to try to fish something bigger than Vernonia lake (last trip with no luck). Am curious about Tillamook Bay and living in Portland it is close. Looks to be windy on Thursday though so that might not be so fun. So, if anyone is going out in Northern Oregon Thursday or Sunday let me know.

I plan to troll for trout, hunt down bass and scope out yellow perch on Thursday at Hagg Lake.  Water level is low right now, so there is not as much lake to cover, but it's still way bigger than Vernowhere Pond.

Probably launch from Ramp A again.

You're more than welcome to paddle with myself and DTS (new member that hasn't spoke up yet  ). 
 

 

I might be up for this. Looks like the coast isn't going to be very fun on Thursday. I'll let you know.

I'm going through fishing withdrawls because of the wonderful ocean conditions lately.  If the weather is good I might be up at Hagg Saturday or Sunday for some early morning bassing.

DTS and I be back out there again on Saturday with our kids.   We're going to target yellow perch to see if we can get some of the "other white meat" in quantity.      

Cool INSAYN, I'll give Hagg another shot. Have fished there half a dozen times since it opened this spring and have had zero hits. But It looks like folks are still catching fish so I am game for another go around plus it is about as close to my house as any body of water.

Yup, got the first 8000 yesterday, and will see another 8000 on the 28th.

Hit it for an hour with the boys while the girlfriend cooked dinner tonight.  Taylor went 1 for 2 off by himself somewhere while I worked the shoreline for smallies.  How's this for a picture of the madness/cure working it's magic?
