I had this thought the other day and want to run it by you guys to get some input.
Now pull out your fishnmaps for the straight MA 6 and 5.
If a couple guys were to launch their yaks at salt creek/cresent beach area, paddle out past tongue point and ride the current back to fresh water bay you can troll/mooch for salmon with out too much effort.
then when you got back to fresh water you load up on one of two trucks (turn around truck) go back to cresent beach. You can fish from 50' depth or greater. And with two trucks that would make it easy.

I found out the other day why they close fresh water bay july 1 through Oct 31. The bay fills up with bait fish and the kings (so I am told) go into the bay to eat, and then get back out. Folks would just slay fish in the bay. Again this is what I was told sooooo....
Fresh water is also load with horse neck clams, good for chowder. Yumm

Sounds very do-able to me, Matt. When we were at NB last weekend, we talked about how easy it would have been to go from Kydaka Pt. to Sekiu. Prevailing winds are usually down the strait, so they would help you.

Wish I could be back over there, soon. Love to test the theory with you. ;)
