I would like to add a plug to my battery setup.  Something easy to install, inexpensive, and easy to locate/purchase.

Suggestions?

I used a marine grade cigarette-style power plug on the boat.  Installed in the forward wall of the Sonar Shield on a T13.  I picked up a couple cheap (~$1 each) power plugs for the charger and living room navigation.

The link shows the boat setup.

Cool setup demonick!
I'm guessing that the transducer cable is all external, running to one of the scupper holes?
Where do you have your FF mounted?
Have you noticed any corrosion on your power port?

Transducer is in the starboard foot well scupper of the T13A.  The transducer cable goes directly into the sonar shield gutter and the extra 20+ feet of cable is coiled/tie-wrapped in the sonar shield.  The other end snakes out the other side sonar shield gutter and up the extension arm into the plastic FF mount.  The power and transducer cable are held on the arm by a rubber band hooked on both ends over the extension arm tightener.

The power plug is mounted well off the bottom of the sonar shield so it has never gotten wet.  The external parts of the male and female power adapter show no corrosion at all.  the electrical connections on the rear (inside the yak) are shrink wrapped and coated with goop so there is no exposed metal.  No corrosion apparent nor anticipated, but I'll probably never know until it hits failure mode.  You have given me the idea to check the battery terminals as I've never looked at them since I hung the battery bag.
