Nicely Done Zee!!!  That's some serious chrome for November.  Way to figure out the winning approach.

Hey Noggin Yakker, don't you know that horizontal stripes are for Nancy Boys?   ;)
Way to score my friend!

Hey, no dis'n my lucky, moth eaten, wool sweater!

Glad to hear your efforts paid off, Zee!

At 135 miles each way, Oakland Bay is tough for me to do effectively in a day. Next time (and there will be a next time!), I'm making arrangements to spend at least one night down there. Below are some of the photos I took yesterday. I'm too wiped to add more to the written report right now.

Karl, you take some amazing photos!!!

You're not to shabby with the fish either.  ;D

Was going to hit the chums again (Hoodsport was fun), but could try your technique if you were really nailing them!
If you're looking for easy I think Hoodsport will still be your best bet. Seems I got it right at the right spot at the right tide. I think that was a factor in my success so repeating could be difficult.

Thinking about some coho/chum action this Sunday. Maybe the same spot or if the weather/river levels stay under control maybe something more local.

Awesome pics, Dudes! Those really capture the essence of a glassy, foggy, south sound morning. I'm envious! :blob10:

as i recall, your poor, NEW, cell took the brunt of the water damage.. :'(

yeh i thought that beach looked familiar...it's where i gave Zee the push he needed to do his own version of "seal launch".. and almost ended up face first in one of my own!

And, Marilyn (squidgirl), thanks for the hat! It kept my chrome dome nice and warm. Are you still making them?
