:) I'm getting packed up, geared up, and psyched up, for my wife and I to move out to the O.P., hopefully to sequim and I was wondering what do you guys wear for cold water gear while yak fishing out there?

I've been wearing a dry top and waders here in R.I. but am thinking about switching to a wet suit.  Can you guys make any recommendations for one that's comfortable, not too expensive and warm enough for the waters out there?  Thanks.

I use what you use- the drytop/waders combo. For winter fishing, I wouldn't mind a full drysuit. I've watched a few guys in wetsuit/paddletop shiver! :o Water temps  average 50F, year round (salt), and on the OP, the air temp is rarely over 75F. Most of the time, it's under 60F.

I wear a full suit 3&4 mm. O'neil brand, I am skinny and get cold easily, however I have not been cold out there yet. But I do pick the days I go out on the ocean! Usually pull a light windbreaker over the wetsuit to help block the cold wind.
I like the wetsuit 'cuz I most allways dump it on the way in through the waves. ::)
