My Stepdaughter has been pedalling our Revolutions when she comes to visit.  She lives in PDX, in the Pearl district.  She would love to buy a Hobie, but they live in a townhouse and have 2 cars and no storage room.  Anybody know of a place that stores yaks in PDX????

There is a public kayak boat house under the East side of the Hawthorne bridge in downtown PDX that offers lodging for your yak, but there was a waiting list last I heard. Its worth checking into though. (Right in front of a good springer hole too!)

I live just across the water from the Pearl, and my wife works across the street from REI... Could help in that department...

The Portland Boathouse is the name of this place. almost directly under the hawthorne bridge. We have a small shop in the building, and willamette river keeper is who you contact about boat storage (next door to our shop). There's also river place marina, directly across on the west side, but the boats are stored outside there, and I'm sure they're full.
