Went crabbing at Nehalem Bay this past weekend. Crabbing was pointless, but I was impressed with my buddy's set up. I made it back to the launch in my sea kayak against the tide about 30 minutes before him, but I didn't have my dog riding shotgun either :)

I noticed he is wearing a helmet.  Is that just to keep his head warm, or was there a chance of collecting head trauma in the bay?   :-\

That's a awesome place to put a camera for sure.  Makes sense.

He wanted to have a "hands free" camera....there's one mounted on his helmet. To his credit he came out with me in the surf on the OK Frenzy and freakin rocked it. I would have made fun of him myself, but he's already on a SOT, so it would just be abusive at that point :)

I'm still laughing about the head trauma in the bay comment. Hysterical!
