Other than paddling across from Kelley Point, what are the launch options on the Washington side?

Today it was great to finally get out fishing. Too bad mother nature didn't see it that way. It wasn't very wet but the wind was constant and heavy. I trolled away from the Gilbert River boat launch to a nice strugeon area while the tide was going out. I found a nursery and landed 4 shakers but no keepers. Lots of guides and their clients could no believe I was sturgeon fishing from a kayak. They haven't met the rest of you...

Only 1 springer reported on the channel today. I got lots of upwind paddling but not even a bite.

Yeah, not many people who fish the channel know about us. Last time I was out there there must have been at least a question from a PB'r per hour.

I find that pretty much everywhere I go. Everything from "How many miles to the gallon you get in that thing?" to "What are you gonna do when you hook a 40# fish. You'd think I was some kind of space creature. I think the sea kayak freaks them out even more.

I'm having a hard time motivating to fish the urban environ around PDX. Anyone fish Tillamook for springers? I'm under the impression they get going mid-April. Anyone have any info?
