Hey guys I sent an email to the people I owe some octo lures to and will send them when I finish. Life keeps thowing me for a loop between my families health, and finances.  Hope you guys enjoy these pics.  I'm planning on doing at least a large and a med bait in a swimming position and a natural postition like this one.  This one is an extra large model.  Pretty sure it will work in Alaska though.

That thing is huge!  Andy, how does a person rig that up for fishing?  :-\

Thanks, it's just a sculpture right now.  I may twist the legs towards the body to make it compact and then put a couple of hooks off the head once I mold it.  I'm thinking that the head will be solid lead with with two jig hooks.  The other octopus will be swimming and more simple to rig.  Hopefully it gets swallowed.

Excellent work. You've got some great sculpture skills. How about making the octo arms transition into big curly grub tails halfway down the arms for some extra action? BTW what do you sculpt with?

Thanks Zee.  The material is called super sculpey.  You can get it at Michaels if you have them up there.  It's about twelve dollars for a pound or two  box but you can usually find a half off coupon on the net.
