Don't know about custom.  But Danuu (http://www.danuu.com/) make a number of different sizes that can fit most kayaks.

It's a good idea to keep them out of the sun when stored.  The UV rays can make the plastic brittle.
Something to keep in mind is that heat can do much the same as direct UV light.  If you have a fitted cover on your yak, it'll work like a little furnace.  Think lean-to, shed or hanging under an eve.

Also have to watch storing outside for the little critters, my friend's T-15 got chewed by a rat/possum/Bigfoot. Nice hole thru the front cover and on one of the scuppers from the inside of the kayak. They were building a nest inside. They completely ate his PFD and baseball hat.

My buddy hung his white water kayaks in the garage.  One spring a few years ago he was getting his gear ready for the season and bumped one of the kayaks.  It felt REALLY heavy.  When he looked inside it was FILLED with dog food.  He had a very big dog, stored the dog food bags in the garage, and over the winter the mice had moved the kibbles from the bags into the kayak for more secure storage.

I just store mine hanging under the eave of the garage, on the not so sunny side.
So far, slugs and snails are my only nemisis.

I store mine under the shade of the forest... my nemesis is pine needles and leaves.  I've actually been pondering some sort of cover lately.  Build an owl box in your yard to attract some owls.  When they move in the rodents will move out; it eliminated my rodent problem.

James,
Do you have a car port? if so you could hang them from the rafters. all the rope and tackle should be available from you local hardware store. or you can go to outdoorplay.com and order one of their hanging trolley sets.

still not an option?? build a rack out of PVC that will fit both boats, add 2 1/2 feet to each side and about 3 to the height and cover with an appropriate sized tarp...check on them periodically for infiltration of vermin...you should be good to go, and it;'s a low cost alternative to a commercial rack

Thanks for the advice, I didnt think about animals. ill probably hang them in my carport.  Or stay up guarding the new boats, lets hope no critters make the mistake of looking at my Kayaks.

If you store them in an unsecured area, be sure to lock them up to discourage thieves. Have a friend who lost his yak & all his gear (stored inside the fish n' dive) from the rafters in his carport. A neighbor ask the thief what was going on. The scumbag told the dummy that my friend said it was ok if he borrowed it, so the ds neighbor helped him load it up & watched him drive away without getting LP# or vehicle description.

Virtually everyone has a cell phone and virtually every cell phone has a camera.  When buying or selling to strangers (Craig's List, or whatever) consider taking a photo of the vehicle and person.
