Hi Everyone,
I'm super excited to find this website and all it's friendly and helpful members. I'm very impressed by your community.
I'm a musician by trade  :banjo:, but enjoy all the outdoor sports, kayak fishing being my newest. I've been kayaking for years, but haven't had the sense to include angling. Well, here I am, and I need all the help and encouragement I can get.
I'm also new to online forums, so if I do something that's not kosher, just give me a quick holler :o.

I've got an Ocean Kayak single, but am also looking to purchase a tandem so the rest of the family can join. What do you guys think about the Emotion Tandemonium? I'm wondering where to mount rod holders (I've just seen the boats online). I like that price range, so I've been checking them out. Maybe even suggest a *local* retailer that can hook me up.

I'm based in PDX but will mostly be kayaking around Netarts/Oceanside area. Crabbing and fishin'. Thats the goal. ;D

Cheers,

amb

Welcome to the forum.  Hope you enjoy it.  You might find Emotion kayaks at Deek and Brians Outdoor Adventure in Portland.  Worth a try.  You will enjoy the Netarts / Oceanside area.  I'm hoping to do some kayak fishing there soon myself.  Good luck and have fun -

Welcome aboard.  I intend to do some fishing/crabbing/clamming in Oceanside on the 13th-15th if you are in the area.  Although, nothing is guaranteed. :-\  Good luck.

Thanks for the welcome, gents.
I just scored a tandem Cobra yak on CL this weekend. I need to rig it for rod holders, webbing, etc, but for now it'll do the trick transporting wife and my youngster.
I've also got a single that's fully outfitted. Yeehaw! Looking forward to landin' a few!

Cheers-
