I had really a great time, only boated two little blackies. Was a little nervous at launch time, it was still a kinda churned up by a system that pushed through Saturday night, but it laid down nicer in the afternoon when the wind died. Yaknitup outfished us all by a good margin, but there's time for improvement before the ORC. Thanks again FS!

 ;D

After cleaning my fish and gear I took my dogs down to the beach and it was as dirty as I have ever seen it. Last weeks storms pushed a fresh load in from the patch. I packed two loads of the bigger chunks I could grab up from a spot about 2 miles N. of Depoe Bay. The beach had plastic "confetti" showing the last 4 or 5 highest tides. Someday soon there's going to be more plastic than sand.
 :(
