Culling done.  Basically anyone that hasn't visited since registering some time before roughly springtime.  Also anyone with zero posts that hasn't visited in >500 days.

We are at 741.

Apologies if I axed someone other that this, but for sure everyone axed had zero posts.

WR, look like you were close.  We're currently at 971.  We should be up to 1000 again by the end of the month.

We should have a contest to guess how many times we will hit 1000!

How many times would you like to hit 1000?

........ ;)
How would we like to solve this?  Calculus?

f(x)=x*(1000) represents how many thousands of members NWKA will have where x is the number of times we shall reach 1000.  Since our domain(x) is based on time, our domain is { x ϵ R : 1≤x}.  Therefore, our domain can be expressed as [1, ∞).  Hence the range (f(x)) is that of a linear function that proceeds upwards from 1000, or { f(x) ϵ R : 1000≤f(x)} and can be expressed as [1000, ∞).

Or philosophy?

If the value is indeed finite, we shall never realize when the value has been reached since NWKA will have, at that predetermined point, ceased to exist.  Or is it predetermined?  If it is not, then any decision made from the present onward will change the course of the future and we'll just have to wait and see I guess...

Kids vs. time for bull$h!t?  That one's easy.  Negative exponential: f(t)=e^-(τ*t) where the time constant τ (tao) is equal to the number of kids one has and f(t) equaling the amount of time for bull$h!t.  The greater the time constant, the more rapidly the amount of time you have for such nonsense drops off.   ;)

Thanks for helping me study guys!  :icon_thumright:
