I'm taking the day off as a belated Birthday treat. Forecast conditions look like it may be favorable for a trip out in the salt. Keeping an eye on the forecast, hope it holds.

THU...NE WIND 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. SWELL NW 4 FT.

FRI...W WIND 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. MIXED SWELL W 3 FT AND SW 2 FT.

SAT...SW WIND 15 KT...VEERING TO NW. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. MIXED SWELL W 3 FT AND SW 2 FT.

Does look good, maybe a Depoe Bay recon mission if i can't get the mothership trip together for this weekend. definetly some time at Sunset for sure

can't do Friday, but hoping things pan out for Sunday since i've taken the day off. would be nice if things stayed down for awhile...

I didn't want to be the jinx who posted it, but I've been watching the forcast for a couple days.

I might be out there on Thursday or Friday, but I'll be taking the lady out on the water so I'll be playing tour guide for the time we're there.   

If things look good, I might try and get a day pass and join you.

I'm not commited to the June Depoe Bay tourney yet, However, I'd like to go to PC for my first trip out to the salt this year.

Crack open Google Earth and figure out where you can have a nice day of salt fishing out of the north winds.  You may need your cart or you may have to shuttle but there are fish to be caught!

I'm staying tuned. I have the day off regardless, and forecasts can change. Fly-fishing on the Deschutes or Turkey hunting in Mosier are plan B & C alternatives.

Alaskan Beer caps (Amber, IPA, etc.) make great lures.   String 3 together with split rings with a hook on the end.  DAMHIK!!
