thanks, Roy..... come to think, it does have a lot of old school prowler in it, probably why it caught my attention first

addendum;
shoulda included this last night but was to tired to think about it.

it's a bit narrower than a standard prowler, the transducer compatible scupper is in the tank well, there's a 8 inch round hatch in front of the seat, and a slightly smaller than Trident sized bow hatch. and it only comes in sand.

oh, and the price point?? it's nicely below $600.00

That's pretty cool they came up with their own edition.  Anybody else notice that BPS has embraced kayak fishing while Cabelas has pretty much shunned it?

Gave one the once over in Des Moines yesterday. Nice hull shape and not too heavy. Not too shabby for the $

Never paddled an OK, but those molded foot braces don't look very comfy or efficient, unless you were wearing stiff soled shoes. Easy enough to fix, but looks like they would hold lots of sand/mud/blood etc.

Actually the molded footwells are worse WITH stiff soled shoes.  I don't mind them too much to be honest.  The ones with the moveable footbraces look more painful to me without something for my heel...

I hadn't really noticed that.  Then again, I wasn't really looking at BPS either!  What I have noticed is the employees down at the Lacey Store seem to have a Wal-Mart employee attitude lately.  Not all of them, but it only takes 1 or 2 to really get me irritated.

yeh, have seen that myself just after they opened that one .....not the same story at the one 45 mins from where i am now.  they actually go out of their way to help you.... but it's 3 times the size of Lacey, too.
