Come on up/down/over for a fun day of fishing and a potluck dinner after the fishing. Gonna try to get the picnic area right by the boat launch, i think it will work good. I have tons of ground space at my property for parking and tents if you can't get a camp spot or just wanna save the bucks, your welcome here.

Gonna be a busy weekend so getting there early would be wise for a parking space close to the ramp to the beach. Can shuttle from my place too.

Post up if you are gonna be able to make it. See Ya there, and at ORC  too!  Here's hoping for flat seas and warm sunshine for both events.

OK, making a list of people that are for sure coming or possibly coming. I am placing flyers out in different places tomorrow and even fishing for some sponsors.

Sounds like a good time to me, but I've already taken too much time off work between all our tournaments and iCast to request yet another weekend off... Sometimes i wish i had a job with "normal" hours...

Roy the flyer looks awesome!  I like the AOTD layout, as it should really spice things up.
Wife made our reservations for the park, and we are in the A loop, (I think A28 or A30).

I'm trying to find the Sunset Bay Boat Launch.  We used to have a Google Map that identified lots of spots but I don't see it in Links.

Roy, can you pinpoint a location in GM and post the link?

Thanks

PS: Great work on the flyer.

We still have a NWKA Google map. I have it in 'My Maps" on google maps page. I put a new marker on the exact spot where you drive down to the beach. You have to log in to your google account if you have one to see it. Can't remember how it got there, i'm sure i put it there somehow?

I also tried to embed a google map showing the sunset launch but failed miserably. It is just a primitive launch, basically a asphalt ramp to the beach that you can drive on to launch boats(small).
If you look at it on GM it is at the far north end of Sunset Bay. Just turn a hard right and go to the end of the pavement.

I'm down for it!   :occasion14:
Just got the Wifes approval. :notworthy:
I'll see if I can't talk a friend or two to join us as well.
Now I gotta go get a camp stove for the pot luck afterward. ;D

Fishing was good today!

pretty sure i got at least 3, maybe 4 sponsors. The excitement level was more then i was expecting!

Coos Bay Englund Marine is donating a Rod & Reel combo. Thanks Mark.
Bites On Tackle Shop will donate some gear.
A new place in town called The Tackle Shack(pretty good prices) is a probable and will donate some gear.
Sunset Sports will probably donate something.

Trying to put together a nice little gift bag for all paid entrants with gear and have the Rod & Reel combo be for a largest fish in a  category, to be determined at a later date, maybe just blind draw the specie.

More to come...
See ya on the water..

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
