Tourny to be mentioned on the radio...  :blob8:

Welcome to Oregon Outdoors Radio, with Host Richard DeChambeau. Broadcast live each Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm on KWRO AM 630 and Fridays on KHSN 1230 AM from 7 to 10 am in Coos Bay Oregon.

I talked with Tony Roszkowski, Owner of the Port O' Call Bait and Tackle in Bandon, a contributor on the program. He was stoked on the idea of a Kayak Tourny and is gonna mention it on the radio.

Awesome!

Thank you Roy and Allen! And thanks to NWKA for being a great sister site to NCKA! Good luck to all and paddle safe! Would LOVE to come up there and fish with you top shelf folks sometime in the future!

I got the day off so I will be there  ;D

I am thinking about bringing a crab cage and portable crab cooker if any one is interested in crab at our BBQ.

I don't know yet if Travis is coming so I might have an extra kayak for some one to borrow if needed.
Enjoy the ride!

Right on bro.  Oh, and crab is a good thing.

I'll toss in my crab trap as well.

How far out do ya drop pots from Sunset Bay proper?

Cool Jesse

I wouldn't turn down some crab. I'll bring some butter. Fish and crab would just be deluxe!

It's on the way to go fishing. Right outside the entrance to sunset bay proper, quite handy.
See ya on the water..

Enjoy the ride!

There was a health advisory posted in todays Register Guard for Sunset Bay. Something about high levels of fecal bacteria, Yuck!

Anytime Mooch!

You wanna come up here and fish with the south coast crew, you got a place to stay here at my house. It would be an honor to fish with ya..

I'm also going to send Roy a couple of rodholders to do a mini-raffle for Mooch.  I'll leave it up to him to determine the entry. -Allen

Ok, got some raffle tickets. Dollar a ticket, cause i think it's funny watching buzzed people fumble through a wad of tickets bought at different times throughout the day, trying to figure out if they got the winning number... I'll buy the first twenty

See ya on the water..

I will be dropping mine in the light house area which is mostly blocked off from sunset so I think it should be fine there.

So do we have some one that needs a kayak to use. I will bring my second kayak if some one needs one to use, but I don't want to load it in if it is just going to sit in my truck all day.
Enjoy the ride!

i'm sure it would get used if you brought it. There's two guys coming to check it out that don't have Yaks yet. I'll make sure you don't have to unload and load both back up by yourself.

I was getting concerned my kids couldn't play and get wet in the bay.
