HELP.. I'm still looking for a grill to fire up these cheeseburgers Friday night. Can anyone help me out? I'd bring mine, but its way to big to move. ANYONE?

I'm not coming friday now, or i would bring my grill. I'm sure someone has one they could bring.
See ya on the water..

Seems we still need to solidify cooking setups for Friday and Saturday nights

Who can bring something to cook burgers on Friday night or something for frying fish Saturday night?

I've already packed the deep fryer setup (w/LP) that I brought last year, as well as a 6' plastic table to make the mess on.  I just don't have the oil/batter.

If someone can bring the oil (1 to 2 Gallons), and a couple boxes of Pride of the West batter, we're set.   If anyone hasn't come up with something to contribute to the potluck already, oil and batter will more than cover your input.  8)

Thanks INSAYN, you're the man!

I've got the batter covered. Three boxes, right?

Now we just need oil.
Peanut oil is preferred for it's abilty to handle higher heat.

How about the utensil for retreiveing the fish from the oil?

I have almost a gallon of Veg. oil, but as you said peanut oil would be better.

Veggy oil is fine, peanut is better.  If you have close to a gallon of veggy oil, just grab a gallon of peanut oil and we're good.

Yes, my fryer spider is packed as well.

I'll bring oil and batter.....and donate whatever fish I kill to your fryer. I'm a releaser 99% of the time. I've had to many parasite encounters with bottom fish to want to kill and eat, so if you want to cook em, they're yours!

Roy you can use my burner to warm stuff up.

Pilfered eh?  I'll keep a close eye on my stuff then.

Jammer, they have a grill in the group campsite.  I'll also bring my folding grill which works great with some charcoal.  I'm sure the more grills the merrier though!

Thanks Lee.

I left mine on the table when i went fishing, so i guess that means you can just take it... >:( A'holes. That was at beverly beach too.

I bought pounds and pounds of organic yams yesterday, so I guess I'm making Maui style upcountry potato salad for Saturday night.

Okay, I'm a lazy bastid when it comes to setting up accomodations - anyone have room for a car squatter @ their site? no need for a tent site, I sleep in my car.

Since I don't eat wheat or potatoes anymore, I'll bring the fixin's for some sort of Paleo tasty dish (probably a veggie stirfry, or maybe glass noodles).  And whoever's site I am squatting at, I'll pay half and bring beer.

I'll see if i can scrounge up some oil too. I know i've got some canola, but i'll see if i can talk my grocery people out of some peanut.  I dunno that my store has pride of the west, i've actually never looked.

I also will be making tarter sauce while the oil heats - for those that can't live without it...
