So... carpooling to and from the bay.

I am pushing REALLLLLY REALLLLY hard to have my trailer ready (not painted, but functional) by the time we head down there.  Will be dropping my camper at my site and will have the 8' bed of my truck and room on the trailer for some kayaks, and gear to carpool to the dock. If anyone needs to leave a car at camp with their better half, my truck seats 5 adults no problem.

I'm pushing really hard to be able to go, and if I do, and the Woman (and possibly 2 of her GFs) comes with me, I will definitely take you up on that.

Wait let me get this straight.

You, your wife, and 2 of HER girl friends?  And would all of you be sporting one tent?

LoL, not my wife.  I'll be very hisitant to make that mistake again!

So, my Girlfriend and two of her friends (which are girls and good friends, so GF's)  And probably one tent.  I generally bring my Ghingas Kahn tent on trips like this.  It's a 10 man tent with partitions for 3 rooms - if we decide to put them up.

No wife...a 3 room tent with partitions (that may not be put up), 3 chicks and one dood.
Got it.

Will completely understand if you don't actually make it out of the tent to go fishing with us.  ;D

Insayn, I would be up for a lift to the ramp. My kayak will be on top of my van, and it takes awhile to get it off and set up. It would be much quicker to have it already to go, and just slide it off a trailer or pickup bed. Plus, I imagine the parking situation at the ramp may be kinda tight, so the less vehicles we use, the better!

Hmm, not a bad idea unless someone that rides wants to leave early. I'll bring my truck and anyone that wants to leave a little early can go with me, my dogs will be at camp stuck in the trailer, so i'll probably spend only about 3 hours on the water.

I'll go keep Lee's friends entertained at camp... :P
See ya on the water..

Let me konw if you'll need the dogs let out while we're gone.  I'm sure that the girlfriend or my boys would be more than happy to walk/water them for you.

Any chance we could get a family headcount listed next to those that are showing PAID in the reminder thread?  Figure this could help everyone judge how much they need of whatever they plan to bring.   8)

You might want to borrow Lee's Genghis Kahn tent...
