Friday night Cheeseburgers....

I will bring most everything needed for the cheeseburger's, but still need a BBQ. Can someone bring a BBQ/propane Friday afternoon???

If we can get the BBQ lined up here's what I will be bringing Friday afternoon:

1 case of 1/2 pound all natural Ground Chuck burger pattys(15# case or 30 ptys per case)
Assortment of buns
Cheddar and swiss cheese
Ketchup, mayonaise, mustard, pickles, onions and lettuce.
Lots of Potatoe salad.
My wifes also making a large batch of onion dip and i'll bring a few bags of chips.
I think i'd mentioned before, I will be getting all the food at cost from the company I work for(Food Services of America) and I will need to charge $3 per person to re-coup my expenses.
I think I read somewhere that Yaknitup has a line on paper plates, forks, napkins etc..... If so, can you please bring them? In addition to "Lee and his ladies" Is anyone bringing extra people?
Tight Lines!

Awesome, I'll be there with bells on! and 3 bucks in my hand.. I'll bring some plastic utensils, i have tons extra i need to get gone or they'll never get used.
See ya on the water..
Roy

I might be so adventurous CBY  ;D

What time/day are you planning on getting there? the only problem i see trying to go out, say in the afternoon, is the wind coming up. I'm gonna try to get there as early as possible on friday, maybe thursday night.

I'll either be coming in midday or late Thursday night depending on if Matt_K decides to carpool with me.  Let's play it by ear when we get there.  If you're rear'n to go early friday morning and don't find me Thursday evening, just find the blue tent with an ! shaped window in the group camp area and throw something at it... I'll get up.

We'll be getting there around 6 or 7pm on Friday.  Just me and the GF.  If anyone needs to Ghingas Khan tent, let me know.  We'll be using the 4man tent instead.

I think I'm going to bring some squash and mushrooms to sautee on the grill.

Just me and the wife...  I'm going to try to talk her into making her corn casserole.  My favorite and lots better than it sounds!

We probably wont show till late Friday night.

a little digging gave up this gem:

http://www.oregonh2o.com/images/mapsiletz.jpg

Sounds like we will be there at peak summer stealhead time! Maybe do a taxi up the river and do a drift down to another vehicle on friday?

Not really necessary to get this complicated. The tide reaches many miles above the campground. Just drift down the the outgoing tide for an hour or so an then follow it back up.

All the spots on this map are upriver from Chinook Bend and the tidewater. If i remember correctly CB is about 7 miles up and the tidewater is 15 miles.

Kinda torn between:

1. Going out on the ocean on friday, maybe target butt's which would be fun but iffy at best to catch one.

2. Do a pre-fish to get a lay of the land for Rock fishing.

3. Do a drift for Steelhead which would be fun and it is peak Summer Steelhead time so a good chance of catching one. Haven't caught a butt or steelhead on a Kayak yet.

4. Sit at camp, eat food and drink beer.
See ya on the water..

..Scratch that one off the list. It's going to happen anyway.

How about an unofficial swap meet on Friday or Saturday evening? I remember a bit of gear and cash changing hands last year...

I'm noticing a large, strong, high pressure system holding on strong in the northeast Pacific into Friday of next week!  ;D

Dry weather would be sweet... but if the interior heats up then we have a strong offshore breeze kicking in.
What are the local effects around Depoe in this situation?
