The good people at Chesapeake Light Craft will be at the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend. They're going to have their fleet of wooden boats there for view and demo. Personally I've been wanting to try out their Sea Island Sport SOT. Pole2 tried it last year and said it lacked some things and I'm gonna try it too to see what I think. It looks hot and would be a fun winter build.

Anyway, I will be there so if anyone else is interested, I'll see you there.  8)

And the week after that is the West Coast Sea Kayaking Symposium, the largest of its kind on the west coast ... http://www.wcsks.org/

I may go to both.

Bring your fishing stuff Z ... you can target silvers right out front.  But watch the weather in this area.  It can come up fast and the wind will blow you away from shore.

Cool. I will bring the gear. I'm hoping to get most the species of Salmon by the end of the year. ::)
