I am having cataract surgery tomorrow and post-operative guidelines prohibit water sports for 4-6 weeks because getting bacteria-laden water in the eye is not advised.  For the first few weeks after I think I will take this as an opportunity to concentrate on calm freshwater for bass and/or trout.

Any westside suggestions for lakes and locations for bass?  I've done Sammamish with no luck and would welcome some bass tips for the lake.  Other King and Snohomish county lakes would be welcome as well.  Oh, and by the way, I am NOT an AOTY threat :)

BEst of luck----may all go well tomorrow!  You will be amazed at the clarity of vision you get, as well as the new bright and accurate color vision.
Most of the eastern lakes have decent LMB and SMB is great in the Columbia system.

Many of the western WA lakes have bass in them.  Being that live in Sammamish I usually hit Beaver and Pine lakes when I'm just wanting a relaxing day on the water.  Both are electric only which will ensure some jacka$$ in a power boat won't spray you.  The best spot for bass on Lake Sammamish is the north end up near Marymoore Park.  The bad part is there is a wakeboard slalom course right there in the prime fishing area.
