Got this funky (ie awesome) Canadian rig for daddy's day and looking to put the hurt on some Oncorhynchus tshawytscha Sat. AM. For those inclined to drifting spinning herring pops and want to join the fun I'll be launching from Ebay's Seacrest Park 7:30AM.

Good to see you're getting some time on the water.  Get that stick broke in so you can put it to use down this way later this summer.  Ocean coho and nooks are getting closer to shore as we speak 8)

Now you have really gone over to the dark side. Great way to extract every bit of fight out of the fish. I have several "knuckle busters" that I use on the Whaler. I'm not certain how the 10'-6" & 11' rods will work off my new Pro Angler but I'm certain that I'm gonna find out how I'm going to get a fish in netting range without "high sticking" the rod. Welcome to the world of being a bait thug.

High sticking is pretty much unavoidable kayak fishing. Pole's pic is a perfect example.

Moochin' was a slow one today. Didn't see any nets flying anywhere. Total count for me was 3 dogfish, 2 flounder, and a rockfish. WTF?? Ran back to the local spot to pick up my crabtrap and had 17 waiting for me. They were all nice sized and it took a lot of work to get the trap aboard. 10 were keepers so threw back 5. Pics to come.

Good meeting you too, Zee. I didn't even got a single bite. I trolled most of the time and jigged with a dart later on. I left at ~ noon and the fish checker said a total of 50 boats landed 10...salmon won today.
