Went jigging at Chamber's Bay yesterday. Things were slow, but we could see tons of sole in about 20' of crystal clear water, then...... well watch the video and see why I should NOT have taken off my PW Dart  :o

Go to you tube and watch it full screen for it to come in clear.

Interesting to see that it checked out your lure more than once before making up its mind.  I wonder what put it off.  What were you using for bait?  Kind of looked like a white GULP! Shrimp.

I'm not a video guy, but you'll need to find yourself some editing software.

Damned Sculpins!

I like how the kayak didn't bother the Salmon at all.  It was less than 20 foot deep when he was filming.

It was a white curly tail Gulp, but the flat fish had picked the tail off. I think if the jig would have been bigger, might have taken a swipe. Lee and 2ndflooryak were both jigging 6"gulp no more than 10-15 yards from me, but no lookers aside from a hungry army of sole.

It was a sculpin I hooked.

Awesome video, were you just holding the camera in you hand or was it mounted on something.  That water was incredibly clear and your video really goes to show you that even when we are not having much action it doesn't mean that the fish aren't present.

Just holding it. The water was super clear. I was in 20' per the FF. My shot angle is still a little high, but it came out better than the musky video. Motivates me to get back out there!!

Yeah demonick, I need to use my editing software. I have some, just not been using it.

Years ago, I bought a downrigger videocam, used it in Commencement Bay, dropped the thing to the bottom (60 feet) and saw a TON of beautiful salmon----silvers, mostly.  Should break it out and use it in the PB again.  Once saw a king come in and take my spoon, just like in the Charlie White videos!  Awesome!

I should have edited that part out. It's the wrist hero, and was trying to undo the strap. Couldn't get the angle and jig at the same time with it on my wrist.

Cool vid.  Was that the HD GoPro camera or just the regular one?  I just picked up a GoPro Hero Wide and am looking forward to using.

The standard wrist hero. Now that I've used it, I want an HD. All in due time
