Finally spent 4 hours on the water at Richmond Beach yesterday in the Revo.  Spent the first two hours geared up napping on the beach waiting for the heavy fog to lift and missed the slack low tide.  Hit the water about 10:30am.  Dropped the crab traps in 80' of water, then went back to the beach and picked up my fishing gear.  Trolled with a 4 ounce ball sinker Brad's Super Bait Cut Plug and Coyotes for about 3 hours.  Nothing.   Did pull up 13 crabs in the two traps and kept 4 legal males.

My issues with the Twist-n-Stow rudder continued, but I figured out what is wrong.  See this continuing thread: http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,4553.0.html

Also my through-the-hull with marine grease transducer did not work.  See this continuing thread, page 4: http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,4411.45.html

Glad to hear you're back out on the water.  Hope the grease isn't too hard to clean out!

I used my finger to put the grease in and I used my finger and a lot of paper towels to take the grease out.  It wasn't bad at all and it didn't make any mess.  I am starting to consider using Marine Goop.  I'll post more in Drillin' & Cuttin'.
