Launched the Hobie  in Tramp Harbor at 05:45, breeze about 15mph, seas 2 feet, pedaled out of the harbor to find a blustery mess----4 foot wind waves, steep and close together with the tops blowing off. I trolled a White Lightning spoon at 45 feet, nuttin.  Trolled north about 2 miles, wind seemed to pick up with the change of tide, turned around and fished back into the harbor, pulled out at 0900, fishless, as was my buddy Nate in his 20' Tollycraft woodie.
If this north wind lays down, will fish the evening change, maybe Piner Point on south end of Maury Island.  Owens Beach will be unfishable with steady north wind....
Never underestimate the ability of our policymakers to fail to devise and implement intelligent policy
