Great forum.  I've been silently reading many posts and taking note. I'm new to kayak fishing but have been an avid angler for years. I demoed several of Hobie's yaks in Seattle and just pulled the trigger on a Pro Angler.  The hands free/mirage fins make so much sense at having hands free fishing.  I've gotten a down rigger and a Hummingbird Fish finder/GPS.

Anyone in the Ballard area looking to do some fishing when the big silvers start running in the sound?

Welcome. Just north of you and would be great to get a Ballard crew together on the water.
