There is gonna be two Salmon Derby's in the next few weekends after this weekend coming up. I've paid for both. Anyone else want to come down/up and give it a try. The money benefits the S.T.E.P program so it's a good cause. I'd love to win one on a Kayak

I got camping/crashing space if anybody wants to come down and give it a whack..

STEP Salmon Derby on the Umpqua River at Reedsport, Sept.4-6th. 1st. 10 dollar entry fee.

Coos basin Salmon Derby, the Coos River, Sept. 11th-12th. 20 dollar entry fee.

See ya on the water..

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in going after the u-da-man crown on the yaquina? that would be sooo bad ass from a yak.  not sure of the date.

Hell yea, I've actually been wanting to do the Coos Bay Derby for 3 years now, last two years NWKA events just happened to fall on the same weekend.

I figure , i've got some good intel on the Umpqua now, might as well try that too...

You fishing in the Yak? you doing both Kjr? heres the info i found for the U-DA-MAN derby.

It was cancelled last year due to projected low returns in the Yaquina River. Can't find any 2010 dated material online about it yet.
