I could go Sunday or Monday.  I agreed to a Nisqually drift on Saturday already.

It's still a little far out to firm up plans but Sat/Sunday look like a good chance at good fishing conditions. The low pressure system is forecast to hit on Sunday night/Monday So Sunday evening and especially Monday could get challenging.

NOAA Marine Forecast:
FRI NIGHT AND SAT
NW WIND 10 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 1 OR 2 FT. W SWELL 6 FT. (Probably 9 second period)

SUN
NW WIND 10 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 1 OR 2 FT. NW SWELL 6 FT.

MON
NW WIND 10 TO 15 KT...BECOMING S IN THE MORNING...THEN
BECOMING W IN THE EVENING. WIND WAVES 1 FT. NW SWELL 7 FT.

Coastal Forecast:
Saturday: W wind 5 to 10 kt. Mostly cloudy. W swell 5 ft. Wind waves 1 ft or less.

Say another night. We will be there to fish Sunday!
I'd love to fish Sunday with you guys but salmon is only open on Sat.

The surf is definitely a bit bigger now than it was last weekend. Its supposed to be at around 6 feet @ 9 seconds, going into the weekend.

These tides are great, though!  Plenty of time to get launched before the tide hits high, so you can get the last bit of incoming and then the slack. The mid-morning high is now pretty low, and it only falls out a couple of feet (today has the least movement) or more to the relatively high low tide.
Only running out approx 3.5 feet on Sat (to 2.7' at the low at 3:30pm ), and out 4.9 feet on Sun (to 2.0 feet at the low at approx 4:30 pm).

I'm fishing locally, though, and won't make this trip.
