Hit the beach about 7am, the surf was up a bit and there were some BIG swells rolling though all morning.  Headed out and the black rockfish were committing suicide and I had my 7 in about 20min.  The lings were also on the prod.  It took an hour or so to sort though undersized and legal lings to find 2 larger than my personal slot limit min of 26".   All in all a great day on the water.  Lots of porpoise around and although there were some big swells and some decent washing machine action the wind held off all morning.  Back to shore and headed up the coast by 10:30
