sorry about that, the larges went fast. the Stohlquist b-pod is a comparable suit (minus the Cordura reinforcements), and comes in at almost the same price:

Thanks for the heads up on the sale.

Went with Outdoorplay.  Placed the order at 9am and was notified that ups had it already at 1pm.  Great service!

There are sizing charts available for each brand.

I never trust charts. You should go to a local store, like REI, and try some on. Make sure to account for extra bulk of cold weather layering.

Hey Lee, good talking with you earlier today.

At 6'2, 200, 36 waist, I'd recommend XL. In particular, I'd worry about the overall length being enough, no fun having it ride up into your crotch. I also like having room underneath to add layers & not bind up moving around. If you're near Hood River, you're welcome to stop by & try one on & make sure.

Alkaseltzy has given you the best guidance on this one. It does not hurt to go a tad large on a dry-suit.

Worst case scenario with buying on the large side, would leave you with a few extra wrinkles. Too small and you won't have room for insulation.   (and your doomed to master the secret fish dance *) ::)

DRY SUITS GENERALLY HAVE NO INSULATION. A dry suit with nothing on your legs in cold water is painful and downright dangerous. *

Putting it on and taking it off definitely has an order. Having someone show you the rhythm is REALLY helpful and can save you from a lot of dancing, pointing and laughing*

Finally, slick underwear, like heavy poly-pro or a bunny suit, make for a WHOLE lot easier entry and exit.

Alkasazi :) answered while I was typing this. You should definitely take him up on his offer.

Depending on your inseam, the XL may also be too long.  I have a "shortened" Kokatat sized for my 34" inseam.  If you're thinking about buying a Kokatat, it's worth asking what a customization would cost you.  As I recall, it wasn't that expensive, relatively to the total cost of the suit I purchased.

Strong ditto for trying one on somewhere before dropping $500-ish.  I am 5'9 and when I was shopping I tried on Kokotat T3 Super Nova Angler Semi Drysuits at REI.  The small fit me in my street clothes pretty well.  The medium was almost comical - I have stubby legs :)   With a full bunny suit and then a layer of heavy fleece, I figured the medium would be a better choice, and I am glad I did.  Remember, not only do you want to accommodate added bulk, but you also want to accommodate easy and maximum range of motion.

Got the suit today.  I'll be trying it on and testing it out at my favorite land-locked steelhead location later today.   :)
