Here's a question for you...only sort of related to this site.

Recently, everytime I open any link on this board from my home computer, the page loads and then, 3-4 seconds later, I receive an error message stating "OOPS, the link appears to be broken."  This only happens on my home computer so it is not the site. It ONLY happens with this site. I've run my Norton a few times, deleted the cache and rebooted a number of times.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jay, occasional yak fisher...

Well, I fixed some site issue late last night.  Have you had the problem since?

Yes, Allen, it is still happening tonight. It must be something in my computer but it only affects viewing this site.

I even had to write this message in another program and then copy and paste.

Jay, what browser and OS?  Have you tried a different browser?

this is still weird. The NCKA site works just fine from home.

After I get the error message, I hit the back button and then the page seems stable.

I don't get it.

Jay

PS. At the bottom of the browser, it shows a "Done, but with errors on page" message. This is what the error message states...

Jay,

Next time you encounter this, can you right click and view page source?  Let me know what the error line is.

Allen,
It seems like these are 2 different problems. The browser works great on this site now!!! Well done.   ;D

However, an error message like the one below is present with each page that I've seen on the site. It doesn't seem like I'm missing anything though. But then again, if we're missing something and we don't know it should be there...are we really missing it?

Thanks,
Jay

OK, seems like the hacker may be at it again.

FireFox blocked me from accessing the site saying it has been reported as a "badware " distributor.

from what i was able to gather while reading the Mozilla MalWare/BadWare page, the site was scanned by Google 3 days in a row, including today and apparently failed the scans.

If you're using Firefox,  you can disable to page blocking under tool>options> security and turning off the blocked page blocker..

If this is another DoS/or some other type of crap, and you know it, and suspect i might have gotten scammed, please reach me via my hotmail account and tell me..

this desktop will be OFF for a week,. on the road again on business and will be on other machine.

thanx in advance
Rich

Yeah, I ran into the same problem today.  I had to disable the site blocking feature to get back on the site.
