After I posted about the SRK sale, there are at least 2 of you that had been looking for kayaks.  Anyone else looking?  For what kind and what's your price range.  The reason I ask is that it's that time of year ... clearance and demo sales.  And I just happen to know a few outfits that will probably be getting rid of a few kayaks.  I'll keep an eye out for good sales and try to hook you up.

Heck, I will probably will have a Big Game coming up for sale.

I'm looking, but I'm not willing to travel out of Oregon. ;)

At this point I'm looking at buying online, as nobody really has what I want.  Which is the Liquid Logic / Native Manta Ray 14.

Though, for others that may be in Oregon, Alder Creek is doing a parking lot swap / used demo boat sale on Sept 22nd starting at 9am.  I'm unaware of any sales from Next Adventure or any of the smaller shops.  Though Next Adventure has told me in the past that they only demo Hobie SOT models, so they wouldn't have a decent selection of demo's anyway.

I'm thinking about a more stable boat to replace my Scrambler XL. Maybe a Prowler 13 or a Drifter. If I can talk my wife into it, we may go up to Sand Point tomorrow & check out the sale.

I have the yak I used at Moutcha for sale. It's a used Malibu Extreme. 3 hatches, 4 flush mount rod holders + a Scotty flyrod holder, a no name paddle, paddle keepers, Eagle FF with battery and charger, and drift chute. I've been slammed since getting back from BC, but will try to post pics, soon.
