I launched at Winchester Bay this morning at 10am, hoping it would be my lucky day to catch a keeper Coho. About an hour into trolling, I caught and released a small native. An hour later, right at low tide, another hookup! This time I noticed that there wasn't an adipose fin, YEAH. Grabbed the net, and landed a nice hen. 10 1/4 pounds, and 28 3/4 inches long. This was my first keeper Coho in the yak. The fish were jumping all around me as I paddled back to the dock. It took catching 5 fish to finally get one that was fin-clipped. Not bad for a total of 5 hours fishing between Monday and today.

It's a beautiful coho. Were you trolling a blue fox vibrax again? I wonder if it'll work up here.
