New to urigyn.
We have only been here since July.
My 12yr old son and I went on are first NW crabbing trip Saturday. We caught one keeper dungeness and one gaper clam. Not the most impressive catch but we had a blast trying. The shorts and females kept us busy all day though. It was a beautiful day and it was great to be on the water.

Looks like you guys had fun.  I was in Netarts this weekend and the weather was awesome.  We were up in the hills stocking up on mushrooms but LOTS of folks were taking advantage of the sunshine out on the bay.  If you head out again PM me and I can steer you in the direction of some productive clamming areas perfect for accessing by kayak

I made a crab-clam bisque out of are meager catch. We both liked the gaper lots. We would love to get into more of them. Thank You for the offer.

Welcome aboard Swampy!  Thanks for the report.  Sounds like you're going to fit right in in your new home.
