She fought like a 39 incher.  But alas, it was not to be on this day.

26 inch rainbow on 5x tippet.  GEEZ!  How did that get into this thread.  Sorry about that.  That was last weekend on the Williamson.

Craig's glory shot.  Lousy photographer.  Sorry about that.

Thanks.  I'm just glad someone got a picture since  I wasn't smart enough to remember a camera.  I feel like skipping work again tomorrow.  I think I'm coming down with what Isaac has....  ;)

Nice trout, too.

I don't usually feel motivated to post failures, but I will for the intelligence factor.  I did go dino fishing back on the day before Thanksgiving with a friend in his PB.  It was 14 degrees and because of that and the retention ban, I only saw two other boats the whole day.  I was curious if the cold air would effect the sturgeon.  Seemed it did because we only had one shaker the entire day.  Anyone else have knowledge of the dino bite dying during a cold snap?  Or other species?  Anyone else been out for dino on the Willy?

I'll probably lay low for a few weeks until (if?) retention opens up again on the first.  But keep me posted if anyone is heading out just in case.  And I'm looking forward to the Next Adventure tourny.  Thanks for putting that together ndogg.

I have never had any really notable sturgeon days when we get a real prolonged cold snap.  Might have something to do with barometric pressure and of course water temps.  Did see a number of sturgeon jumping while I was steelhead fishing last week.
