First Annual Willy Dino Sturgeon Tournament

With winter upon us, I know most folks pack their gear up and start dreaming of spring, but not anymore.  Now we can all start dreaming of fishing in the,  "First Annual Willy Dino Sturgeon Tournament".    The event will held on January 15th on the Willamette River and will be open to all kayakers.   Here is a link with more details and the registration information.

Looks like the tourney may end up  being catch and release.   Hopefully they open it on time and just close it early.

Bummer..  Guess its catch and release till at least Feb.  Least we still have steelhead
