Found this while browsing the net today, and thought anyone here building a kayak trailer might like it.
26" wide x 86" long x 17" should hold many kayak friendly rods and gear.  Best thing is the price. Not bad for a big waterproof aluminum box.

Nice looking box.  I wonder what options there are for adding hinges and a mechanism to hold the lid up?

Looks like it would be easy enough to add those features yourself, just rivet a few hinges on and use something like this for the lid support...

When working in Antarctica I saw boxes similar to this. They were provided for body storage incase of someone dying. This rarely happened and we used them for alternative uses like indoor beer coolers. These would be a great transport case if going overseas to a far off destination to get some fish on.
