Heading up that Saturday, hoping to get a space at C. park. It's first come first serve, hope there's a spot left. Don't have a plan b yet. Probably just hang out and chill Saturday.

Plan to fish sunday, monday, tuesday. One day might be in a sled but nothing is set yet. Want to fish for a springer for sure and maybe a Dino day. Let me know if you want to fish or just come by the trailer to BS. Maybe a BBQ on Saturday or Sunday. Want my first Springer!

Too bad it isn't summer.  I'm going to be at Alder Creek around 4 pm today to check out the coosa.  If that goes smoothly/quickly I could try to swing by.

I'd be glad to join you for a Dino day.  Or a springer day.  Maybe we should do the PDX monthly meet-up earlier in the week rather than Thursday so you can attend.

No, Just 4 days. I knew that looked wierd when i typed it Don't know why i always put the year in there when the SM puts it in there anyway.

We need to meet up at Depoe Bay  when you are in town if the conditions fall in line at the same time.

Been too long, You and Brian were the first NWKA'ers from out of my area that i ever fished with!! That was a fun day...

Will Sturgeon be open from Thursday-Saturday in this area? If so, i might have to come friday instead.

I am a little concerned about getting a space on Saturday afternoon anyway, C. Park isn't that big. What do you think PP? what other options for trailer camping in the area?

Sturgeon could be open those days  (thurs-sat) if the quota lasts, lets hope it last that long.  You are fairly early to get into any real decent springer fishing, but there are always Steelhead around to be caught.  I don't think the trailer park really fills up until April ish when the springers get there in full force.  My guess is you should be fine finding a spot.

Do you think it would close after thursday or friday the 3rd or 4th? or will it stay open the whole three days if the quota wasn't met the week before?

No way to know, only time will tell.. It will be interesting to see how much of the quota gets eaten up the first 3 days its open, it might give a hint as to how long the quota will last.  I can't name one guy I know who, fishes regularly, who won't be on the water this Thursday.

I think i'd rather have better Springer fishing  and don't really want to race up there too early for one day of sturgeon retention. Think i might stop there on the way back down rather then the way up which would be around the 18th and then i have no real schedule and can be there a whole weekend.

If you need something to do when you swing into town the boys down at Meldrum Bar are always into something. :banjo:
