Springer saturday

I have a pass this weekend (wife in Seattle again) so I'm on a springer hunt. I'm thinking of launching at Brown's Landing.  This means you don't need a parking pass for Sauvie Island. I don't care what the tides are doing and only gale force winds will keep me away. This is a scouting trip so it might suck or be epic, probably somewhere boring in the middle.

The willy is high, muddy and not fishable (at least in OC) I can't imagine the channel is much better.

If I can paddle, I can fish.    Besides, I get shut out often enough to not need a real reason. 

Thats a good quiet launch. i did some fishing out of there last summer...
