I will be there and happily donate the "X-wing" from Malibu kayaks that I "won" at the the B10 salmon derby.  I even drove down and hassled Astoria Kayak for the part it was missing so its complete ;D.

PNW - I like those jigs.  Nice work.  Looking forward to checking those out a little closer -

Alan
maybe we could do some tradin'

I plan on bringing plenty of jigs for trading.  Mostly 6 oz diamond jigs, 6 - 8 oz torpedo jigs, and 5 - 6 oz spire point bullet head jigs.  My luck hasn't been very good with drawings so trading may be the way to go for me.  This should be alot of fun.

I just made some rod leashes and my order of jig heads from WILDERNESSHUNTER on NCKA just came in and he gave me free shipping (Big Ups! to WH), I lost my radio out at Deception Pass a few weeks ago, so I wasn't able to order as much as I would have liked (was going to donate more SWAG). But, I had some parts come in to make some of cool paddle leashes.

Anyway, I have 3 prizes that include (1) paddle leash and (1) of each 3oz and 4oz jigheads.

I will also have some Curly Tails to throw in with them...gotta pick'em up tomorrow...post pics later.

I have a "conservation pack" from Vent-a-Fish...
de-hooker for circle hooks, venting tool, and a 10pack of 16gauge replacement needles

looks a lil something like this

After being unable to send a good-looking but small copper back to the bottom the last time I was out, i've concluded that de-venting tools like this are invaluable

Brian, do you think venting is not of much utility? I know that WDFW is discouraging it, on the basis that it could lead to infections. I'm not sure about it at all. I would guess that if there is sufficient trauma and cellular damage, even if a fish is initially successful at diving, it may not survive long-term.

I'm about to restrict myself to fishing the kelp beds. i.e. <25'. I've found that if I reel a copper or other benthic fish up from as little as 40', too quickly, then thry suffered baro trauma.

same here. I usually fish in or near kelp <40 ft. Probly why I don't catch many really big fish. Hope to change that at ORC.
