No, SPORTCO is on the way home from work.  I'll hit them Friday morning on the way down to ORC if I can't find them at Auburn Sports Marine.

Bob's in Longview has a great selection of everything.

I think the river is still damn near flood stage and running cold.  I'll wait for a while.  :)

I'd like to remind everyone that parking at both Chinook Bend and the Depoe Bay Launch will be at a premium.

At the Launch:
Please double up if using trailer spots.  Better yet, carpool to/from the launch when possible or unload at the dock and park above the launch area.  PB'ers pay for the boat ramps directly with their licenses.  Let's not give them a reason to seek the same kinds of fees on non-powered craft.

At Chinook Bend
The good folks at Chinook Bend will be designating an overflow parking area for us.  If you're just showing up for the awards dinner, please use the overflow lot.  If you're camping, the overflow lot will help ease the presure next to the group camping area.

Thanks All!

There is a $2 launch fee (honor system), that should also be noted. Bring dollar bills as there is no cash machine or person to hand your debit card to.

This late in the game is it better to sign up and pay with paypal or just show up with cash in hand on the morning of the event?  I'm closely watching forcasts still on the fence about leaving sunny 80 and calm to drive 5 hours to 55 degrees and a possibly churned up ocean.

Disclaimer:
I know the ocean is gunna be greasy flat I just had to throw out the churned up comment to push back the jinx that comes from everyone else praying for it to be calm.

Paypal is fine.  Cash is fine.  Looking forward to meeting you on a cold and stormy ocean.

If you are coming up 101 from the south, there will be additional road work south of Yachats.

Paving on US 101 to restrict traffic between Florence and Yachats

FLORENCE— Travel will be restricted to a single lane on U.S. 101, beginning five miles south of Yachats this week while a contractor for ODOT grinds and paves a five mile section of highway.

The construction will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14 through Friday, June 17, 2011.   Flaggers will control travel through the construction zone between mileposts 170 and 175.  One lane of travel will be open and motorists should expect delays of 10 to 20 minutes.

This project is weather dependent.  Should inclement weather prevent construction, the work will be rescheduled.

I think I fixed it.  Please let me know that you can see that page.  There was an issue with your account's membergroups setting.
