Might the lack of invite have anything to do with the exodus of one Nanook?  I had fun doing this a few years back.  I may be able to make the second day.....

Sine this thread already has rabbit trails does anyone remember which thread has the animations on buying new reel etc. Looked till i'm really confused for it and no find. Oh ya if you do know would you post it, I mean the thread not IT.

I just got the official invite from Alder Creek.   

Saturday is usually the big attendance day for the festival and I will plan on attending then (but not Sunday).  I could use some help on Saturday (even if it's just for just a hour or two).   My plan is to set up our usualy table, show off a couple rigged kayaks and maybe even rig a new kayak at the festival as a demonstration. 

If others would like to volunteer for Sunday that would be appreciated and we can figure something out regarding tables and materials.

I was down at Alder Creek yesterday and was talking to one of the staff members,  "He how should not be named" and he mentioned that he will be holding a SOT based Self rescue/ Safety class around 1 PM on Saturday,  might be a good chance for some of us Newbies to get some hands on practice.
