Man, Roy, that sucks.

Time to consider those filets as bait, just like greenies for big lings. ;D

Found a recipe for you- sounds like it was written by AJ's grandmother.

Oh man... Sorry Roy, I dont mean to seem insensitive about losing your fish, but c'mon... the visual of your story is making me laugh! Especially if you did this:

You could have gotten your fillets back by running at them screaming and flapping your arms.  :)
-Spot-

Nothing to do but laugh about it now. Somehow I doubt thats the first or last time that has happened.

This just means you have to go catch more fish!

Erik

Or suffer another slow day being hammered by the wind....

I stayed amazingly calm. After the initial shock and disnay i just chocked it up as another learning experience(seems to be alot of those with fishing).

I wont lie, after i got in my truck i was looking over my backseat at my 9mm case thinking i could get at least one before they scattered...
See ya on the water..

Yea, my 870 would have done a number on 'em too but i don't think a raving lunatic blowing seagulls out of the air would have gone over too well...

870?!  Is that a typo?  There would be nothing left of the bird, or any of the things behind the bird...
