Hi all. I've been fishing off my Mini-X and was sitting side saddle on my center hatch. I'm a heavy guy @ 220lbs. Is this ok for me to do, or am I going to damage my hatch?

I sure appreciate all your help, suggestions, advice, etc. -wetwhopper

You've been fishing?  Where the reports?  With pictures?   :icon_cheers:

This is the center rectangle hatch?  That's probably one of the stronger points on a yak.

And what do you mean 220 is heavy?  <hmmm ... I can't find a "fat blob" smiley ... will have to work on that>

Hey Allen. Seen a few silvers rolling, typically fishing starts getting "hot" here in mid October for ocean run silvers in some of our local creeks/rivers. Most locals use brass #4-6 mepps (water is often tea colored) with alot of success. Average catch between 6-12 lbs. Last year I nailed a shiny 18lber with my dad. He caught two (12 lbs and 14lbs). Waiting for 1 more good rain.  ;D

I feel like such a "rookie" when talken to some of you guys because my knowledge is very limited. This is my 2nd year fishing.

My father caught a 58lb King Salmon on the Hump in a drift boat. Going to be hard to beat.

I promise pics r on the way.
