Update on the Edmonds/Kingston ferry status for this coming weekend from the Wa. State Dept of Trans.:

"Wednesday, May 25, 2011 12:02 PM

Edmonds/ Kingston - Memorial Day Weekend
The Edmonds/Kingston route will be on its regular schedule on the Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 30. Expect heavy traffic and long lines westbound Thursday evening, Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday morning, and eastbound on Monday. Please consider traveling outside of peak times to avoid the longest waits. "
