Think I found one. Its a Red Adventure that has only been demo'ed a few times, just waiting to get a quote from the Marina owner! It looks barely used, any part in particular to inspect, besides the drive well?

From personal experience, it's hard finding a reasonably priced used Hobie.  Most people seem to charge at a price a few hundred shy of the price of a new kayak regardless of how old the thing is.  If you're looking to save a buck, a late model demo kayak from a dealer seems like about the best way to go.  Would you get the factory warranty with the adventure you're looking at?

One tip from personal experience, if this red one doesn't work out for you, is get familiar with how to find and read the serial number on the boats so you can sort out when the kayak was actually manufactured.  I purchased an "06" hobie that ended up being an "05," a model year with a bad history in the drive well leak department.  Things have worked out fine, but that doesn't stop me from wishing I'd gone into the deal a bit more informed.

I think its a 2010 Adventure, will double check tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip about the factory warranty and serial numbers.
