Yesterday (6/7/2011) Jammer convinced me that a trip to George Roger's Park for some sturgeon fishing was a far better idea than my original plan of planter trout fishing.  I am glad I listened.  I had my best sturgeon day ever catching seven sturgeon (5 were keeper-sized and two were shakers) in about 3 hours.  Too bad it wasn't keeper season. :P  Although, that would not have mattered much to Jammer since he had the over-sized hole.  I think he caught 5 over-sized, a keeper-sized and a shaker.  He can correct me if I am wrong.  Here are a couple photos of one of his biggest fish:

And here is a video of some of the days action.  Oh, also, Yarjammer mentioned in the ORC beer thread that
Quote
CL and Tupperware kayaks were made for each other; craft beer is for the fiberglass and carbon fiber sea kayak crowd.
Not true.  If you watch closely, I clearly demonstrate that a Black Butte Porter can also be drunk in a non-carbon fiber (there is fiber-glass though) boat while reeling in a keeper-sized sturgeon.  And I believe Jammer's boat is tupperware.  ;)

The video defaults to med def.  If it hangs up, try the ipod/dvd version.

I love that mid fight power sip you took Craig (Woody).  Would be a great ad pitch for that bottle.

Jammer, you're an animal!

Hey, leave those poor majestic creatures alone.  What have they ever done to you?   You.. you.. animals.  How would you like it if.......

Okay, okay... so I'm a bit jealous.  Jammer sent me a text about this and I'm now kicking myself for not ditching work to join you guys.

Aren't those puppies a hoot even when c&r. Wish I could afford to fish your local rivers where the numbers of Dino's are far greater than up here in Puget Sound.
Anyway, glad you are all having sore arms ;) and backs too. ;D

I assume that is for Jammer, 'cause mine really weren't that big.  ;D  At least not in comparison.
