From the frustration files! This year fishing has been "off" to say the least in my area,

Cut to yesterday...Another day of slow fishing but the best conditions of the year. Fishing for an hour or so with only one black to show for it. I finally caught a nice bait size greenling so i rigged him up and dropped it down..About a half hour later:

Note to self: this will learn you not to forget your gaff idiot!

**f-bombs are dropped liberally in this video..unedited***

See ya on the water..

Roy, would have liked to have seen the video, but since youtube was taken over by Google, my operating system can't view youtube videos. In fact, this is what I get when I click on the link.

Bummer on losing the big ling...  Being the creative builder you are you need to create an all in one yak tool.. A combo gaff, fish wacker, lip gripper, pliers, bottle opener etc.  that way you only have to remember to put one thing in the boat;D  Looking forward to chewing the fat with yah at ORC..

Thanks, Roy! I feel a little better now about that big trout I lost during our end of year AOTY effort last DEC. What a sick feeling, reaching back for my net and grabbing nothing but air... cuz the net is still in the truck :'(
